Quick answers to the questions we hear most.
Do I need a subscription to publish my page?
Yes. Building and editing your page is free, but making it live requires an active or trialing subscription on that profile. See "Publishing your page" in Getting Started for details.
Can I use my own custom domain?
Not yet. Every published profile is served at its username’s strands.io subdomain today. Custom domains are planned but not available yet.
How do I see how my links are performing?
Open a link’s options menu on the Links tab and choose Analytics — see "Understanding your link analytics" for what that shows.
Can I have more than one profile?
Yes. Each profile has its own username and needs its own subscription to publish. Switch or create profiles from the "Editing" menu in the admin navigation drawer.
Can I change my page’s design without publishing right away?
Yes — Design changes are held as pending edits until you choose to Publish (or Cancel to discard them). Nothing there goes live until you publish.
